CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE’S CLUB
Our clubs provide children and young people with supported and fun play opportunities whilst also providing their carers, including siblings, with time for themselves.
Our Children & Young People’s Clubs for children & young people with complex needs, learning disabilities and autism are funded via Charitable Grants and part-funded through Carers Trust Crossroads West Wales’ charitable funds
Our Moments Clubs for 2023 -2024 include our Saturday Sessions for Children and Young People aged 12 – 19 years, which are based in Llanelli; and our two monthly Group Sessions, for Young People aged 16 – 25 years, these are out and about in the Community, activities and venues chosen by the Young People themselves!
Due to the number of families interested and the reduced number of individuals we are able to accommodate within the venue itself, we have introduced a criteria to help us determine who we are able to offer sessions to.
Please complete the Expression of Interest form by clicking on the link to the right and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Frequently Asked Questions
My child has a health condition that makes them vulnerable and at greater risk from COVID-19, what do I do?
This is your decision to make, please discuss it with the Out-of-School Provision Coordinator. If you are in doubt on whether your child’s health condition means they should be shielding, please seek advice from your GP.
What should I do if my child has COVID-19 symptoms?
Under no circumstances should you send your child to club if they:
- feel unwell, have any of the three identified COVID-19 symptoms (a new continuous cough, a high temperature or loss of taste or smell) or they have tested positive to COVID-19 in the past 14 days
- lives in a household with someone who has symptoms of COVID-19 or has tested positive to COVID-19 in the past 14 days
For more information on how to apply for a test for yourself or someone in your household with symptoms including children under 5s please visit the Public Health Wales website
How will we limit the risk of infection for your child?
Risk assessments are being carried out at all our clubs ahead of the summer and we will have a comprehensive programme of measures in place to limit the risk to staff and children. These include:
- Separate entrances & exits
- Clear signage on the importance of handwashing, hygiene and maintaining social distancing
- One-way systems with clear floor markings to encourage social distancing
- Parents/children & young people and staff will have to complete a health questionnaire before they are permitted to enter the club premises
- Reduced numbers of children & young people within clubs
- Increased handwashing
- Ensuring good respiratory hygiene – promoting the ‘catch it, bin it, kill it’
- Increased cleaning – frequently touched surfaces will be cleaned regularly during the day and a full clean will take place every evening
- Each club will have its own designated isolation room should a child or staff member start to feel ill during the day
Please note that all staff have completed Infection Control training and we have a robust and up-to-date Infection prevention and control policy (copies are available on request)
