START YOUR CAREER HERE - we are recruiting

Most of us juggle busy lives, but if you also look after a relative or friend who is ill, frail or disabled, you probably find it extremely difficult to have a full life of your own. Crossroads can help.

We understand caring for others can be a challenging task. It can have an adverse impact on the carer’s life, such as having to give up their job and social life to support the person they’re caring for around the clock. Although many carers are able to access support services, many struggle alone without support.

We support unpaid carers who are caring for family members or friends though practical, personal care and support.

Fully trained

Crossroads care staff are highly trained in all aspects of practical care and are sensitive to the emotional needs associated with caregiving. They are dedicated registered professionals with a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Fully Regulated

The Care Inspectorate Wales is the regulatory body that inspects and reports on care settings, including Crossroads Care, within the Principality. Their reports are public and available online.

DBS Checked

We adhere to strict safer recruitment protocols. Plus all care staff hold current enhanced DBS checks and are registered with Social Care Wales (SCW), ensuring they meet the requirements to work in health and social care services.

Tailored for you

With over 30 years of experience, a tailored care plan based on the individual’s needs, provided by trained and competent staff, can work with your lifestyle and help provide greater choice and control in living independently.

Community Home Support Service

We support individuals in maintaining their independence within the community during times of heightened need. It is designed for people who are not eligible for social care and support but whose needs might escalate without intervention. The service is available to those requiring practical support to ensure a smooth transition from hospital to home, prevent hospital admission, or avoid escalation to statutory care. It is also available for individuals stepping down from statutory care.

The service is short-term, providing practical support for up to 4 weeks. During this period, the service will work with the individual to develop a wellbeing plan, setting realistic goals and outcomes to be achieved.

Referrals can be made via telephone or email.
Contact will be made within 4 hours of receiving a referral.
